This week Jody talks about how he found out his friend's Rolex was a fake, and we talk about "Fake-os" and "Nolexes" in general.  And of course, Jody is still loving on his Martin Braun Doxa pocket watch conversion, while my significant other can't understand why I still haven't taken off my AMVOX II since getting it back from the 'spa' just a few short weeks ago.

We spend a few minutes answering your emails about who can be trusted to service your prized possession, and we talk about watches that employ an "unbreakable mainspring".  This week's brand focus is on independent, Emmanuel Bouchet, and we have expert watchmaker, Josh Kroman from Kroman Watch Works in San Jose on the phone to tell us all about this week's watch geek term: Column Wheel.

So sit back, relax, we're going to talk about everything from watches to... watches.

This week Jody and I talk about the new Rolex by Ben Bridge boutique in the West Hills Mall...
Jody's still loving his Martin Braun Doxa Pocket Watch Conversion and I'm just happy to have my AMOVOX II back from the service center.

We also spend a few minutes talking with IndependentInTime.com's Tim Jackson.  Tim is the owner/operator of a beautiful jewelry boutique located Solano Beach, CA, which specializes in unique and rare watches from some of the world's top Independent watchmakers, such as Vianney Halter and Kari Voutilainen.

Jody goes through the email questions about selling an intact watch collection verses breaking the collection apart, as well as who makes the coolest "his and her" watches.  We focus on Swiss Crown Jewel Brand, Patek Philippe, then geek out on watch terms 'escapement' and 'swiss lever'.

So sit back, relax, we're going to talk about everything from watches to... watches.
